Leo & Roxy Basics

Leo & Roxy's Basics is just that, a fantastic basic yarn at a great price that pairs beautifully with all of it's hand dyed cousins as well as functions well on it's own. Our sample is The Falling Blossoms Shawl, a free pattern on Ravelry that crochets up with just a single skein.

Fibre Content: 75% Superwash Merino/25% Nylon
Weight: Fingering, 100 grams, 425 metres (465 yards)
Gauge: 24-32 sts/10 cm (4″) on 2.0-3.25 mm (US0-3)

Things to know…

This is a mill-dyed yarn and is a solid colour, it does not have the same tonal properties as our hand-dyed yarn. If you need multiple skeins for a project please ensure that you purchase them at the same time as there is a dye lot for these yarns.

For the first wash, there is a possibility that minor bleeding MAY occur.

Although many of our bases are “superwash,” we still recommend hand-washing in cool water using a wool specific wash (we {heart} Soak) and dry flat. If you had a pet sheep would you throw it in the washer and dryer????
